Theme of the day: “BE FREE”

Acts of the Apostles 12: 1-9
He told Christians the story of the Apostle Peter about how he was imprisoned but the angel of God freed him by Divine power. The cause of this imprisonment was evangelism when King Herod did not want it. In this time, when King Herod captures someone doing evangelization he killed him but for the Apostle Peter because God was with him and his time to leave the world had not yet arrived, he was saved from the hands of the King Herod.

He also spoke of the story of Paul and Silas in Acts of the Apostles 16:25: “Towards the middle of the night, Paul and Silas were praying and singing the praises of God, and the prisoners heard them.” , he showed the Christians who were there how God frees his people when they put all their trust in God.

God can not abandon his People when they need him, it suffices to call him and he is always ready to intervene.

Example is the story in the book of Esther, when King Ahasuerus reigned. The Bible tells us about a man called Mordecai who was a guardian. But a certain Haman wanted Mordecai dead, he was himself who took this place and Mordecai was rewarded for a good thing he had done a long time ago.

After this sermon, the pastor prayed for the desperate people and there are four (4) people converted and who have accepted to follow Jesus Christ as their savior.
